Protected Posts
@ 8:50 am by Pressed
There are a few posts I’m going to make over the next couple days that I’m going to password protect. These posts contain detailed information about baby Josiah and what has been taking place in the hospital over the last several days and for personal protection and privacy reasons they will only be viewable if you have the password. I’ll continue to post pictures on the web, but some pictures will be contained only in password protected posts. These posts are mainly for close friends, family, and people I know. If you would like to view the posts please e-mail me at craig@tbcsullivan.com and ask for the password. I’ll send it to you via e-mail. I’ll use the same password for each of the posts so you only need it once.

Some Pictures…
July 31, 2007 @ 5:55 pm by Pressed
While I have a few moments I’m gonna post some low res pictures from my phone. I’ve discovered the hospital’s Wi-Fi network and so now I can make some more posts as things progress.

Welcome Baby Josiah!
July 30, 2007 @ 10:37 pm by The Boss
This is Christopher using a bit of administrator’s privileged here at AE!
I just wanted to let you join me in welcoming Josiah Tanner!
Josiah came into the world today, July 30, at approximately 11:56 am CST.
Josiah was taken by C-Section this morning weighing in at 9 pounds and 12 ounces. He is 21 inches long with a head of thick black hair. Oh and he is adorable (which is a good thing because I promised Pressed that if Josiah wasn’t adorable, I wasn’t going to lie to him).
Kendall went through recovery and when I saw her she was tired and still feeling sick but doing well.
Dad, mom and Josiah are all doing well, tired, but doing well.
There is of course more to the story and I’m sure some pictures but I will let Pop share that with you. Just give him some time.
Later taters!

Week 39: An Induction Is Imminent, A C-Section Is Probable
July 25, 2007 @ 1:57 pm by Pressed
Today was Kendall’s doctors appointment for week 39. We showed up 20 minutes before the appointment and ended up waiting for an hour before finally Kendall went up to the window to ask what was going on. Apparently the ladies behind the desk got the chart out, sat it down somewhere and completely forgot all about it. They rushed us into the office after they realized their mistake and they even rushed the doctor in so fast that they forgot to take Kendall’s blood pressure and do a few other routine things.
Today he gave her a choice. We already know that she may not be able to have the baby naturally because she is so small and the baby could be too large and so he asked her if she would rather plan a c-section or get induced to try and have the baby naturally. Kendall decided that she wanted to at least try. We scheduled the induction for this coming Monday. She gets to try to have the baby for awhile, but if there is no progress or if the progress is too slow then they are going to do a c-section.
The only thing that may change this plan is if she goes into labor before this coming Monday. If he wants to come out before the hospital gives Kendall pitocin that would be alright with me. I don’t really like the idea of induction, but the doc says he really wants to go ahead and get this baby moving before he gets any bigger and the chance for natural labor becomes impossible. It could already be too late for that. We will see…
Be sure to pray for Kendall and the Baby on Monday!
