The Final Class In Kansas City
October 12, 2006
This is it. I'm leaving tonight to take my last class in Kansas City. Once this class is over with I will have only one more reason to go back to the seminary...to graduate! It feels good to be finishing up the last few hours of school, knowing that it is almost over.
I'm taking a seminar taught by Dr. Norman Geisler on Secular Humanism. It's a two day seminar that I think will be excellent. I will have just a few things to finish up for the class when I get home and that is it. No more K.C. for me.
This weekend my wife is going with me. We are gonna visit some old friends and take my traditional trip to Cabelas in our free time. I just hope I can stay pretty close to my diet while I'm gone. We are going to have to eat out for the next couple of days. We'll see how that goes.

Congrats friend! We only have 7 months to go ourselves! Isn't that a wonderful feeling?
I am so proud of your diet routine that I have been reading about. That is so hard to do. I remember going through that before my wedding and it wasn't pretty. Hang in there!!!

Congratulations on completing your seminary education. As you leave, you may still have some unanswered theological questions.
I wanted to point out that in light of your stand on limited atonement that some of your previous Bible references in February are a bit flawed to support it. You use verses which refer to the "many" which Jesus died for, but you should also note that in Romans 5:12-19 "many" and "all men" are used interchangeably, so two of your verses are not valid to support limited atonement. Also Romans 5:18 makes it clear that Jesus died for all men, just as all died through the sin of one. This parallel seems more consistent than a one sided theology where one dies for many, but one fell for all. I just post this to keep you looking and seeking for truth. Again, congrats.
