Ruth's Chris Steak House

We took Michael out to Ruth's Chris Steak House yesterday for his 40th birthday. He has talked so much about it that we finally decided to bite the bullet and go. Christopher and I walked into a Ruth's Chris Steak House once before and quickly walked back out once we glanced at the prices. It is an expensive adventure, but you only turn 40 once in lifetime, so we were willing to go celebrate it with Michael.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and elegant, and the quality of the service and food was impeccable. The story about how Ruth purchased the Chris Steak House was interesting as well. The steak was good, but not worth the price that we had to pay for it. I've had steaks that were just as good, if not better for a whole lot less. The steak alone is at least $30. That is by itself with no other food. If you want to add a side, you are looking at $6.50. Want salad with that? Add another $6. Kendall and I didn't get out of there for under $70 and she didn't even order a steak. If you want to go to a nice restaurant that has excellent food and you don't mind throwing wads of cash at them, then Ruth's Chris Steak House is for you. If you just want a tasty steak, go somewhere else.
