There Is Something Wrong With These People...

"German youths offer R-rated Bible calendar" are the headlines that I read yesterday as I was astonished to find out that this German youth group has done a picture shoot of Bible characters in the nude to fill up a 12 month calendar. Delilah is topless as she cuts Sampsons hair and Eve is nude as she offers an apple. This is all under the guise of "getting younger people to read the Bible" but what it accompishes is peverting the minds of younger people so that when they read the Bible all they can think about is perverted, lustful thoughts and thereby altogether missing the point in the first place.

The next headline that I read this morning was "Group Collects Bibles in Exchange for Porn". Apparently this athiest group called "Athiest Agenda" is asking college students to turn in their Bibles for free porn magazines. Apparently the Bible has been a negative influence on society throughout history, but porn has not. That is a load of malarkey if I've ever heard one. I can understand wanting to get rid of Bibles, but to replace it with porn accompishes nothing.

So there you have it. This is the world we live in today.
