I've Been Initiated Into The Apple Club
December 02, 2004
I have been so addicted to Blog Explosion that I didn't take time to mention my Monday evening purchase. While I have used Macs at church for a couple years now, I am finally the proud owner of a new 20 inch iMac G5. I've only had it for four days, but it is by far the best computer I have owned. Not to mention it's sexy, sleek look and convenient package. The only bad part was the lack of RAM they chose to put in the machines. This has been the biggest complaint with the new iMacs. It comes factory installed with 256 MB of Ram. This is not even enough RAM to run Final Cut Express. I had to buy a 512 MB memory chip to install into the machine just to run some of the programs I use. Other than that, I love it.
The other thing I really like is iChat. I have just started using it for the first time. If you use iChat and want to add me to your list, my address is pressed@mac.com.
Ok, off to vist some more Blog Explosion sites to earn more points. It really works. Click on that link to go sign up, but I must warn you, it's addcting I tell you, addicting!

I felt like being daring today! Besides, I am not actually a member of .Mac so no one can e-mail me anyway... I can only use it for iChat.

I hear ya! I signed up for BE awhile back but never did anything worth it. Over the last few days I've really started getting addicted. MUST. GET. MORE. CREDITS.

Daisyhead:
I must get more sleep. I must get more exercise. But can’t because I have to work on my blog and visit other blogs via BE. Must surf. Must get traffic to my blog. Must read other blogs. Must not linger at any one blog. Must get credits. No sleep. No exercise.
Must not stop to write comments like the above.
Spurgeon is forgotten. Even more sadly, so is the 7ht real of Shaftsbury is, which is a shame. He was a great and good man.
Hope

Hmm... do I ask what " Final Cut Express" is, or do I just settle with knowing you think you have too little RAM...

Your daring putting your .Mac address online.
Congrats on the new iMac... its a fine machine. I installed one for someone a few weeks ago. (Be even finer when you can get Tiger for it -- I can't wait for Spotlight!
)
