Avoiding Evil

“Examine everything carefully…abstain from every form of evil.”

Today we start our mission tracks, which means we actually leave the campus and go out to the mission field to do ministry in the area of Charleston. I believe about 21 groups will be going to different locations to do different types of ministry. I am driving the van for my group which is children’s ministry. This should be interesting because we are going to a place where my site leader has not even been and she doesn’t know what to expect when we get there. FLEXABLE is the term that must be learned when you take these kinds of trips. I know that several groups have to drive 30 to 40 min just to get to their site and I am hoping that ours is close, but I will find out today.

Things are going great here in Charelston, despite the rain that continues to plauge us. But by the grace of God it only rains in the evening and has yet to rain during the day when it would most affect us. I think that most of our students are having a great time and I continue to hope and pray that this is a life changing experience for them.

Well for now I need to go, I have to pick up the lunches for our group before I can go to breakfast then park a great and mighty distance from the cafeteria, so I better get started.

Pressed - but certainly not crushed!

  1. Bryan Said,

praying for you amidst the trials and opportunities!
