  • Have You Seen This Car?

    June 24, 2003 @ 12:54 am by Pressed

If there was ever a time for cursing now is that time! Me and my friends decided to take a trip to the Muny tonight. Since there was five of us going me and Mr. Wright both decided to drive. We get up there, we get into the Free seats at the Muny and prepare to watch the show. About half way into the show Casey, my girlfriend, decided that she hated it and wanted to go home so I reluctantly left even though I would have liked to have seen the rest of the show. So as we are casually walking out to my car I realize that I can’t find it. I went up and down several different isles and I push the panic alarm on my key chain trying to find it but it simply was not there. SOME FREAK STOLE IT! I find myself standing in the parking lot in the middle of forest park an hour away from home and being more clam than I should be at that point. Then I walk over to a police officer to report it stolen since there were several police officers standing around plus four or five police cars patrolling the area. *sigh* So it is reported, it hasn’t been found yet, and I am without a car. This decided to happen three days before I leave for a week mission trip I might add which makes things that much worse.

If you have seen my vehicle could you please let me know. It is a 2002 Black Pontiac Grand Am GT1 with a sun roof, leather seats, and my Harry Potter book is in it too!

Well you sure aren’t doing a very good job of avoiding evil! LOL

      This is horrible!

I dread this same thing happening. I was less worried when I drove around in my little Mazda pick-up with no features…now I drive a Grand Cherokee Laredo and always feel “relief” when it’s still where I parked it. Something to be said for driving a vehicle nobody else wants, at least it comes with some peace of mind.

So sorry to hear this news. I will pray!

    2. Timothy R. Butler Says:

That’s terrible, Craig. I’m really sorry to hear about that. :-\ I’ve away been paranoid about parking in downtown St. Louis (especially at the Fox, though). Hope you find your car soon!

    3. joseph j. fell Says:

what were you watching while the car was stolen?

    4. Christopher Says:

It was a musical review call Side by Side by Sondhiem. I think that is how you spell the name.

      Prepare Ye

Last Wednesday, “the gang” (we need to come up with a better name then that) went to the Muny in St. Louis to see Godspell. We were all still a little gun shy from our last Muny experience, but I was determined to see the show because I was in it my s…

      A Series of Unfortunate Events

I managed to talk Pressed and Michael into going to the Muny again. Our track record has not been the best. This week Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s over-hyped musical Cats is playing. The Muny is the nation’s oldest and largest outdoor theater located in Fores…
